Casa Mersedes is a Beach Resort located in the area between Pefkohori and Glarokavos.
In one of the most beautiful and aesthetically pleasing beaches of Halkidiki, Casa Mersedes was designed, a beach resort that includes a 600.00m2 restaurant, a 450.00 m2 lounge area with a unique view of the sunset, a 320.00m2 private pool, and a large area of beach in front of the sea, a Louisa clothing store, a spa with massage and treatment areas.
The concept was to create a unique space that could combine its large size with its other functions in a common aesthetic.
A native aesthetic was chosen with influences from African motifs.
The enormous size of the restaurant led us to create different sections, such as a sushi area, while a central bar was designed in its center.
Large, imposing custom lighting fixtures were placed on the ceiling, while African motifs were used on both the floor and the ceiling of the store.
In the lounge area, a floor fireplace was designed, which functions as a core, around which low lounge seating was placed in combination with low restaurant tables. Two symmetrical pergolas were constructed to house the 2 small lounge bars, while in its center the DJ furniture was placed for sunset events.
In the pool area, custom wooden cabanas were designed, with private rooms on their backside.
An imposing entrance was designed to completely hide the image of the store when people arrive, provoking a feeling of surprise and discovery of each area of Casa Mersedes. At the entrance, 2 massive wooden doors were designed that open on their axis, so that when they are open, their carved wood pattern with influences from the African continent is visible. At the entrance, a large reception was designed, with special custom lighting fixtures suspended.
On the beach, large wooden sunbeds were designed while custom deckchairs frame the beach area in combination with the special patterns on the sails that were placed on wooden poles for shading and the beautiful distribution of the beach seating areas.
