This private residence is located in the area of Kalamaria in Thessaloniki.
The apartment belonged to the grandparents of the family. It is a very elegant house with many wooden surfaces on the walls of the main living room and the dining area. The main project was to renovate this old apartment, and to transform it into a single family apartment with a modern colonial style. The main issue was to keep all the wooden surfaces and trying to combine them in the style of the house.
The old dining area has been transformed into a new open kitchen next to the living room and the old kitvhen has been turned into a 9 years kids room.
The old 3 bedrooms has been connected to each other into one master bedroom area, with a master bedroom , a master wardrobe and a master bedroom. The same Parisian colonial style has been used also to the rest of the rooms.
The ceilings that were flat concrete slabs, has been covered with gypsum details to give an extra Parisian essence.
