Louisa

Louisa is a women's clothing company based in Thessaloniki. Also maintaining a second store within the beach bar Cabana in Paliouri, Halkidiki, we were asked to design a third Louisa store within the beach resort Casa Mersedes.

Casa Mersedes is a Beach Resort located in the area between Pefkohori and Glarokavos.
On one of the most beautiful and aesthetically pleasing beaches of Halkidiki, Casa Mersedes was designed, a beach resort that includes a 600.00m2 restaurant, a 450.00 m2 lounge area with a unique view of the sunset, a 320.00m2 private pool, and a large area of ​​beach in front of the sea, a Louisa clothing store, a spa with massage and treatment areas.

The concept was to create a unique space that could combine its large size with its other functions into a common aesthetic.
A native aesthetic was chosen with influences from African motifs.
The location of the Louisa store within Casa Mersedes led us to impose the aesthetics of the Casa Mersedes store on it, influencing the general image of the retail shop.

Large, imposing custom lighting fixtures were placed on the ceiling, while African motifs were used on both the floor and the ceiling of the store.
Rails suspended from the ceiling with special ropes were placed around the perimeter, with special display cases for displaying clothes. Shelves for clothes were placed around the perimeter, while special display cases were designed for the storage and display of swimwear, both men's and women's. In the store, the display windows were replaced with wooden dividers made of tropical wood, creating the feeling of a cage in the jungle, enhancing the feeling of the natives.
In the center of the store, the reception desk was placed, which also serves as the cash register, while at the back there are openings that overlook the jungle that has been created in the center of the Casa Mersedes beach resort.
