Next to the sea, on the road that leads to the ancient temple of Sunio in Athens is a pool bar constructed in the early 70s. This area, from the city of Athens is called Athens Riviera, because many citizens of Athens are making their vacations here.
In the beginning of the summer of 2015 the 3 friends decided to invest in this old pool bar.
The concept was to create 4 different spaces in the same area. A fish restaurant , a café bar, a pool bar and a private pool area. Because of the big length of the façade of the complex a big and impressive entrance is designed as a landmark of the Anchor project. This giant entrance is made of steel and wooden parts making a game of light and shadows. Through this entrance the costumer can choose in witch of the 4 areas he wants to go.
Each zone has a different style. The restaurant is a Mediterranean style light fish restaurant, the café is a summer decoration with similar wooden surfaces like the entrance.
In the pool the style is the classical American style of Summer in California in the years of 70s.
