Nuera is an all day coffe bar and Restaurant located in the area of Glyfada in Athens .
The idea was to create an all day bar with an atmosphere of a vintage chic but very stylish destination .
The main issue was the huge wall surfaces. So we designed big wooden surfaces to cover the empty walls and creating an atmosphere of a vintage chic restaurant. Because of a fire during the construction, that collapsed the main ceiling, a new ceiling has been designed , with roof openings so the natural light could come into the interior.
A bar is placed in the left side Nuera with a big arc with green tiles on the back.
In the center 2 big sofas have been placed, looking to different directions , with a unique floor pattern underneath them.
A giant chandelier has been placed in the center of the ceiling , trying to lower the big height of the restaurant.
On the back wall , windows in a new pattern have been opened to create a feeling of a backyard.
Almost all of the furniture, chairs and tables , are custom made and designed by the Architects of ZitaTeam.
