Piu Verde is located in the middle of the grove of Papagou , a city area near Athens center. The main building is surrounded from trees and there is also a small lake in front of the café. Some trees are also located in the building , so the clients have the impression that they are actually in the middle of a forest.
The surface of the café is around 1.000sq.m. and is separated in many zones, such as the restaurant, the bar ,the lobby, the main sitting area and the fireplace area witch is a bit more privet zone.
The concept was to give a very simple decoration style with ecological materials very similar to the forest and trying to give the impression that the café is a huge wood house placed in between the trees.
A white wooden decoration surface was constructed to unite the different zones of the Café and to hide the main kitchen zone.
Over the bar was designed a geometrical polygon ceiling to make the the bar zone more recognizable because of the big size of the café.
