Rο House

This private residence is located in the center of Moscow, near to the red square . The apartment is in the 3^rd floor of one of the oldest buildings of city.

The main project was to renovate this old apartment through changing first of all the use of each room. The kitchen has been transferred in one of the front rooms of the apartment and a new bedroom has been designed inside of the roof.

Between the kitchen and the living room , in the smaller room of the apartment has been placed the dinning room in the center of the house.

The main aim was to respect the history of the building. The decoration on the inside is in harmony with the imposing power of the building, leaving it with the delicate architectonic elements that dominate, creating an atmosphere of an old but elegant apartment.

The existing bathrooms could be removed because of the age of the building , so we decided to change the interior of them, trying to make them look more modern than the rest of the apartment.
